Founded in 1992 by Patricia Michelson, La Fromagerie operates from Moxon Street in Marylebone with a walk-in cheese room (temperature-controlled, customers can browse with staff guidance) and an attached café-grocer with a serious wine selection. The Highbury location is similar but smaller. Patricia Michelson's books ("The Cheese Room", "The Cheese Course") established her broader influence beyond the shops.
